Ticket Sign-Off

Citations for mechanical or administrative violations are sometimes called “fix-it tickets.” Some examples of these violations include inoperable headlights or expired vehicle registration. An officer can sign the citation, verifying the violation has been corrected.

People can meet an officer at the Police Department during regular business hours to have the violation checked and the correction certified. Please be aware that an officer may not be immediately available when you arrive, so allow sufficient time for an officer to become available to come into the station to assist you.
