Human Resources

The Human Resources Office functions under the direction of the City Manager. Human Resources is responsible for coordinating services and programs that provide City departments with assistance in developing and maintaining a qualified, effective, and diverse workforce including recruitment and testing, employee benefits, classification and compensation, workers’ compensation administration, and employee relations.

Human Resources areas of responsibility include:

  •  Staff recruitment and selection
  •  Employee benefit administration
  •  Labor and employee relations
  •  Classification and compensation plan administration
  •  Employee records management
  •  Workers’ Compensation
