Parks

Parks is a division of the Public Works Department.  Rio Vista has 10 (ten) parks consisting of a Boat Launch,  Bruning (City) Park, Crescent Park, Drouin Park, Egbert Field, Homecoming Park, Liberty Neighborhood Park, Memorial (Buena Vista) Park, Promenade Waterfront Park, Sierra Park, and Val deFlores Park. 

We are committed to enriching the quality of life through family friendly neighborhood parks and other recreation facilities, while preserving the community’s natural environment for the enjoyment of current and future residents, as well as visitors to our community.

Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the park facilities within the City, and master planning and preparing grant applications for upgrades or construction of new park facilities.
