Boat Launch/Picnic Area

A fully reconstructed boat launch facility was completed in April of 2021.  Annual passes may be obtained at City Hall for $160 per vessel.  Passes are good January through December. Daily launch fees are $14 (including vehicle and trailer parking).  Additional vehicle parking is $5.

The boat launch area features a dock with moorings, a two-lane boat launch, parking for vehicles and boat trailers, a picnic area with tables, drinking fountain and restrooms. The launch fees can be paid by cash or credit card at the onsite pay station. If paying at City Hall, cash or check is accepted only.

Location and Directions:

The boat launch ramp is located behind City Hall, off of Front Street.

From East: Take the Front Street exit off of the Rio Vista Bridge. Go under the bridge onto Front Street and travel about ½ mile to Main Street. Access to the boat launch area is on Front Street, on the left, ½ block after crossing Main Street.

From West: Stay on Highway 12 until just before the entrance to the Rio Vista Bridge. Take the Front Street exit onto Front Street and travel about ½ mile on Front Street to Main Street. Access to the boat launch area is on Front Street, on the left, ½ block after crossing Main Street.
