The Measure K Oversight Committee is an advisory body created to assist the City Council on matters regarding funding collected from the tax established by Measure K. The Committee will ensure transparency and oversight of the tax revenue generated by Measure K.
The Committee consists of five members and will hold regular meetings at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of January, April, July, and October, and may hold special meeting(s) on occasion as needed.
Membership
The Committee is comprised of five (5) voting members, each with a three-year term, and one non-voting City Council liaison with a one-year term. Appointments will be made by City Council’s approval of the Mayor’s nominations. Should a vacancy occur on the Committee before the Committee is dissolved or terminated, the Mayor will nominate a new appointment to be approved by Council vote.
