Music and Fine Arts
Offers drawing, painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor), guitar, bass, ukelele, and piano lessons for youth and adults. They also have an Open Mic event for all ages.
Offers youth theatre classes.
Specializes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theatre, Cheer Dance, Tumbling, Hip Hop, and more for ages 18 months to adults.
Athletics and Sports

The Rio Vista Sharks is a recreational swim team. The purpose and objective of the Rio Vista Sharks Swim Club is to teach swimmers good sportsmanship and pride in achievement through competition and hard work- to unite the members in friendship and in good team spirit.
River Delta Youth Soccer (riverdeltaayso.org)
River Delta AYSO, 2/C/328 was started as a charter region in 1981 and offers youth soccer for ages 3-18.
Rio Vista Junior Rams Youth Football
Offers gym memberships to youth ages 13-17.
Offers youth yoga for youth ages 8-14.
Val De Flores Park, a 3-acre neighborhood park offers a skate park, large and small dog park, ADA restrooms, soccer fields, picnic tables, off street parking and a bike rack.
The skate park was designed by our skating youth in 2018. About 6,000 square feet with ramps, pipes, and rails that, from above, form the shape of a whale. Skateboards, scooters, and BMX freestyle bikes are all welcome.

Rio Vista Library - Solano County Library (solanolibrary.com)
The Rio Vista Library offers many activities for youth of all ages.
Youth Support Services
Rio Vista Care offers a Teen Resource Center (Open 3-5pm Monday-Friday) that is a space for after school with skilled staff that provides a safe environment for teens to be who they are. They offer: Free use of computers for homework, study, and job seeking, Employment services such as resume writing and assistance with employment applications, budget planning, and translation services. They also provide resources and referrals to community and county services.
Rio Vista Care also offers a LGBTQ Teen Pride Group for youth in 7th -12th grades.
Offering citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership for youth in grades K to 5.
A youth organization for girls.
FFA (National FFA Organization, formerly known as Future Farmers of America)
A youth organization that prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success. RVHS students can inquire within the school if interested.
Kids and teens complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and civic engagement in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.
