The City of Rio Vista has adopted the following codes, which are reviewed and updated annually. These Codes include the 2007 California code of regulations Title 24 (CCR T-24).

A charge shall be assessed of $5,950 for each consumer unit or equivalent. The Service Charge shall be broken down into two sections, as per Municipal Code Section 13.04.060.
When the building permit is first obtained, the developer shall at that time pay to the City an application fee of $80.01, and that said fee shall be per unit constructed for water service during construction.
The amount of connection charge for the new facilities shall be per unit of occupancy as per Municipal Code Section 22-28 and Ordinance 573:
Residential Unit: $6610.76 per unit
Domestic Strength (strength factor 1.00)
A buy-in fee to participate in the City’s inceptor lines, sewage collection, and wastewater treatment facilities shall be assessed each unit at a charge established in Municipal Code Section 22.2.8 (Ordinance 573). $967.43
