Planning Commission

The Rio Vista Planning Commission is composed of seven members, and appointed by the Mayor. The Commissioners shall serve staggered terms of four years . The Commission recommends plans for the regulation of future growth, development and design of the city, and carries out the provisions of the zoning ordinance. The Commission addresses matters including but not limited to:

  1. Land Use
  2. Zoning
  3. Variances
  4. Design review.

Regular Planning Commission Meetings are held on every second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public via Teleconference.
