The City of Rio Vista Finance Department prepares and maintains a wide variety of reports regarding the fiscal health of the city government. This site includes two of the primary reports prepared for the City Council.
Monthly Financial Report
This report is normally prepared monthly and compares the adopted budget to the revenues and expenditures to date. The Fiscal Year 2011 reports are available for review:

Basic Financial Statements
The City contracts with an independent certified public accounting (CPA) firm to provide an annual review of the financial statements for the City of Rio Vista. While the financial statements are the responsibility of the City's management, the audit firm is responsible for expressing an opinion on the financial statements being presented fairly and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
